What to Expect at The Wellness. Our Service Standards, in Plain Terms
The quality of private medical care is decided less by the building than by a handful of practical things that most clinics never write down. How quickly you can be seen. How long the doctor has with you. Whether you know the price before you arrive. Whether the appointment ends with the problem solved or with a list of things to organise yourself. And whether your information stays private. This page sets out exactly what The Wellness commits to on each of those, so you can hold us to it. You can be seen the same day, 7 days a week, by video, in person at 10 Portman Square in Marylebone, or at your home, hotel or office. Appointments are 30 minutes rather than the 10 that are common elsewhere, with examination. Fees are published, from £59 to £49,995, and confirmed before you book, with no surcharge discovered afterwards and no membership needed to be seen. Prescriptions, fit notes and referral letters are issued in the appointment at no extra charge. Bloods, scans and specialist opinions are arranged for you rather than handed over as instructions. Nothing creates an NHS record, and nothing is shared with an employer, insurer or other doctor without your written consent. Consultations are available in English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Dutch.

Access
Same-day appointments 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. A message on WhatsApp is answered by a person, not an automated booking system, and usually secures a time within hours.
Three ways to be seen. By video from anywhere, in person at 10 Portman Square, 3 minutes from Baker Street, or at your home, hotel or office, usually within the hour across central London.
No registration, no referral, no insurance and no UK address needed. Visitors from abroad are seen on the same basis as London residents.
Families seen together, with each additional household member in the same visit from £195.
Time with the doctor
Thirty minutes for a standard in-person consultation, 45 minutes for an extended one. That time is what allows a proper history, an examination, a clear explanation and a plan, and it is the single biggest difference between a rushed appointment and a useful one.
Always an experienced, GMC-registered doctor, never a substitute, and the option to see the same doctor again when you return.
Price
Every fee is published, and the fee for your appointment is confirmed before you book. There is no surcharge at the door, no charge for issuing a prescription, and no separate fee for a fit note or referral letter written in the appointment.
No membership is required. A single visit costs a single fee. Membership is available for those who want unlimited same-day consultations for a fixed annual fee, but it is never a condition of being seen.
Third-party costs, such as imaging and specialist consultations, are quoted and confirmed before anything is arranged.
The appointment finishes the job
Prescriptions issued in the appointment and sent to a pharmacy near you, including late-opening pharmacies, or delivered to your hotel.
Blood tests arranged at an accredited partner laboratory, with results explained by a doctor rather than sent to you as a list of numbers.
Imaging arranged at the London centre best equipped for your question, performed by an experienced sonographer and reported by a consultant radiologist, and followed by a review appointment that goes through the result.
Referrals written to a named consultant with the appointment booked, not a letter handed to you to arrange yourself.

Honesty about what we can and cannot do
We tell you before you book if we cannot help. Controlled drugs such as strong painkillers, sleeping tablets and ADHD stimulants cannot appropriately be issued at a first consultation without established records. An emergency needs 999, not an appointment. And some problems are better served by a pharmacy under Pharmacy First, which is free.

We never guarantee an outcome, because no honest doctor can.
Privacy
Nothing creates an NHS record. Your notes are held securely and released to nobody, including your NHS GP, your employer or an insurer, without your written consent.
Where a company or family office pays for your care, it receives an invoice and nothing else, with no results, findings or indication of what was discussed.
Where you would like a summary sent to your own doctor, it is prepared in a form they can use and sent only with your agreement.
If something is not right
Tell us, by WhatsApp, email or phone. A senior member of the team will respond, and clinical concerns are reviewed by a doctor. If you think anything on our website is inaccurate, email team@thewellnesslondon.com and a doctor will review it.
What it costs
Harley Street GP consultations sit at £250 to £350, visiting doctor services charge £400 to £600 and above for evening visits, and membership practices charge annual retainers running into thousands and then £400 to £600 or more per visit.
At The Wellness each appointment is a single, published fee. All figures are from prices.
Family Office Programme, 12 months covering a principal and up to 3 family members, from £49,995.
Executive Health Programme, the most comprehensive single assessment, from £11,995.
Individual Membership with unlimited same-day GP consultations, from £4,995 a year.
Home, hotel or office visit, evenings and weekends from £695 and daytime from £495, additional household members from £195 each.
